Business Development Manager-Regional

Description:

Regional positions in the Gulf Coast and the West Coast are currently available.

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Generate leads and sales through client and prospect relationship development.
  • Close sales on prospective clients and maintain functional relationship with major accounts.
  • Obtain master service agreements with perspective clients.
  • Travel to trade shows and make sales trips to prospects and clients in the assigned regional states.
  • Develop relationships with current clients to maintain business and obtain additional business from other areas within the account and referrals.
  • Market research to assist in annual marketing and sales plan.
  • Attend annual conference and assist with organization and implementation of marketing and sales activities and follow up on leads.
  • Follow-up on leads from referrals, trade shows, advertising and the Company’s website.
  • Generate proposals for existing clients and prospects.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in the development of materials and implementation of marketing plan.
  • Follow-up with new clients to insure that the Company is meeting their needs and to expand business within a current client’s organization.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the Company, its services, its competitors and the industry.
  • Discuss with management new trends or new programs that should be explored that will improve or enhance the business and increase sales.
  • Follow through on campaigns developed by the business development team and maintain sufficient detail on how new accounts and new leads were added.
  • Work proficiently with contact database to input leads and perform utilities to maintain proper contact with existing and potential clients
  • Participate actively in all appropriate industry organizations when requested to promote the Company and its services.
  • Assist the business development team with marketing ideas.
  • Attend data integrity training and sign off acknowledging understanding.
  • Insure proper maintenance and organization of marketing and sales resources.
  • Responsible for the timely response of all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Operate within the guiding principles of the company.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in a natural science.

2. Two years of sales and industry experience.

3. Attributes: self starter, technical and industry knowledge, client focused mentality, positive attitude, excellent follow-up and follow through. Good oral and written communication skills.

Inside Sales Assistant

Description:

A position in our Texas or West Coast office is currently available.

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Attend local regional EHS organization’s dinner/lunch/breakfast technical meetings.
  • Attend Regional conferences in support of Business Development Manager (BDM)
  • Develop lists (name, address, phone number, email address) of prospects for Business Development Managers targeted visit areas.
  • Research target companies for qualified environmental health and safety person to pass on the Business Development Manager the name, phone number, email and address.
  • Assist Business Development Managers in the loading of prospect information from conferences and regional sales visits in the contact management system (ACT!).
  • Assist Business Development Managers in maintaining personal contact with current clients and prospects in the region.
  • Monitor and maintain ACT! database with current account/prospect status, proper company groupings, removal/avoidance of duplicates.
  • Initiate telephone sales calls for rental services
  • Build ACT! database with lists from conferences, local section lists, safety and health organization membership lists, etc…
  • Assist Marketing department with tradeshow coordination, event planning, lead verification, result monitoring and reporting. 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing or related
  • 2+ years experience, or BS degree and 0 yr experience
  • Aptitude for working with relevant software applications
  • Must have aptitude for the use of current software on multiple platforms – must be well versed and current on technology
  • Must possess an outgoing personality, excellent phone skills, be team oriented and have an aptitude for science related work

Accountant

Description:

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Applies all daily cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Process Credit Card payments and receipts.
  • Identifies and resolves any payment discrepancies.
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts for external audit purposes.
  • Update Company cash position daily.
  • Process Sales Tax Returns.
  • Maintains appropriate accounting files.
  • Generate billing for client accounts.
  • Clients PO review.
  • Prepares 1099's for appropriate parties.
  • Performs other duties, supplies information and provides analysis as requested.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5 years experience in the Accounting field.
  • Working knowledge and the ability to learn accounting systems and Microsoft office applications. Knowledge of MAS90 software a plus.
  • Attributes: ability to multi-task, good organization skills, attention to detail, ability to operate in a production environment, ability to meet deadlines.
